Distance Reiki - Frequently Asked Questions
Distance Reiki is a Reiki treatment in which the Reiki energy is sent remotely. This means that the Reiki therapist and the Reiki recipient are not physically in the same place. While in a "normal" Reiki treatment the hands are held over the body at various points, in a remote Reiki session, the positions of the hands are visualized. The energy flow is the same.
Reiki practitioners work with different symbols that release different energies. During a remote treatment, the remote healing symbol is activated. Reiki energy can therefore flow beyond our restrictive concepts of space and time. This is why Reiki can also be sent from a distance, both into the past and into the future.
One of the benefits of distance Reiki is that you are free to choose your own location. This can be your personal spot where you feel strongly connected to higher energies (e.g. in the forest, in a meadow, in a garden...), at home or on vacation - there are no limits to your imagination! The only important thing is that you can be absolutely quiet and undisturbed during the session.
First of all, we will make a personal appointment and discuss whether you would prefer to communicate before and after your treatment by video (e.g. Zoom), by telephone or by text only.
Shortly before the remote treatment begins, you can prepare your room in peace: Light candles, use essential oils, turn on some relaxing music - whatever helps you to relax.
At the agreed time, we will then start our preliminary talk by phone, video call or text message, during which I will explain to you the exact procedure of the distance session in detail.
